Calvin captures his audiences with real emotion in his singing style and personality. Calvin previously received nominations for the category of “Country Male Vocalist” in the 25th JUNO Awards (1996), a nomination for “Best Male Artist” in the RPM “Big Country Awards (Toronto) and was very humbled to be nominated in the province he calls home by A.R.I.A.  (Alberta Recording Industry Association)

Calvin's delivery of a ballad rekindles old flames buried deep in a listener's heart and when he turns up the jets in a song, his energy revs up all the party animals.” Calvin started singing in vocal contests soon after moving to Calgary. With a mixture of live performances tossed in along the way, Calvin turned his full attention to pursuing a career in the music industry. This was realized with strong concert performances at the Calgary Stampede, successful showings at `The Big Rocky Mountain Jamboree' (Alberta), CCMA 1995 Showcase and a “Today’s Country” taping. Calvin’s first single "Missing You" (Royalty Records) is still heard on radio in Canada. Radio and country-dance instructors adopted his second single “Loves Music, Loves to Dance”. Both videos received plenty of play on NCN. (CMT) Calvin says, “Thanks so much.” Calvin has made impromptu appearances at radio and events across Canada. He’s always eager to meet fans, chat and give away posters to surprised fans at these outings. Calvin is a genuine person with a talent that connects him to listeners.
